2017 began with a show of force from the weatherman....and after these flurries it really started to snow.
The Golden Anniversary Mystery Trip The most wonderful gift from the most wonderful son and daughter. The first fifty years have flown by. We hope the next fifty will be just as rewarding but perhaps go by just a little bit slower.
Our only road trip of the year was across Oregon for our oldest grandson Kurt's high school graduation.
Summer
We found it very easy to stay close to home through the summer months this year.
Shirley did her flower magic while Old Grumpy finished the 2016 window replacement project and stained the deck.
It's nice to have those projects done but even nicer just to be able to do stuff like that again.
Autumn

Ben, Bell, Brown and Brahms The four B's provided us some very pleasant Sunday afternoon entertainment this fall.
Thanksgiving
Is it coincidence that the words terrific, tasty, turkey, and Thanksgiving all begin with the same letter?
...and now it's Christmas time again. I know it's Christmas time for sure because the little gray stocking mouse and his friends have taken up
temporary residence on the hutch like they do about this time every year.
